Kelly is a collage artist who uses vintage popular culture image sources to create complex, layered artworks which have the female form at their heart.
The initial presentation of an immediate, seductive, tactile and eye-catching quality in her work develops into a detailed narrative on the nature of perception, societal roles, memory and expectation. Each work contains multiple tiny stories and snippets of everyday life – past and present – woven together in a rhythmic, colour-tinted palette of texture
