Charles began his career in Paris, where he worked for prestigious fashion houses such as, Emanuel Ungaro, Guy Laroche and Givenchy. Charles is best known for his idiosyncratic and expressive style of drawing, painting, ceramics and embroidery. His drawings are both intimate and evocative, mixing characters, nature, fashion with the ephemeral and fantastical. Charles is driven towards constantly testing new frontiers with his art. His work has been described as “ ethereally innocent and provocative ”. His innate passion for the arts and illustration along with the experience he cultivated in the fashion industry over the years is now looking to expand his unique style and talent to all media platforms; production design, animation and graphics.
