4ME4YOU features designer HERSKIND during Copenhagen Fashion Week AW26.

HERSKIND at Copenhagen Fashion Week 2026

During Copenhagen Fashion Week, Danish designer Birgitte Herskind unveiled HERSKIND AW26 – Wrapped // Unbound — a collection rooted in quiet strength and evolved femininity.

Featured in 4me4you, this story shifts the lens away from the runway and into the backstage atmosphere, where the essence of the collection reveals itself in intimate detail. Through exclusive backstage imagery, 4me4you offers a different perspective, one that captures the subtle gestures, the textures up close, and the unspoken confidence that defines HERSKIND.

AW26 is not reactionary; it is a natural continuation of the HERSKIND design language, refined and deepened.

Asymmetry anchors the collection: cocoon sleeves, barrel legs, peplum tops, corsage constructions, goddess draping, and cinched waists create a dialogue between structure and fluidity.

There is a deliberate tension between containment and freedom, between what is wrapped and what is released. Minimalism is revisited and gently undone. Blazers transform into softened jackets; shirts rise to reveal the waistline, signature belts, or bare skin,  inviting either bold accessories or understated sensuality. Low-waisted silhouettes in black leather and rich chocolate wool subtly reference an understated 80s mood.

Texture carries emotion throughout. A long-haired goat shearling jacket emerges as a statement of tactile luxury, while reversible shearling styles in brown and cream balance comfort with authority. Oversized crossbody bags reinforce this interplay of ease and command. Leather appears supple yet decisive, from a cropped leather hoodie to flared black leather trousers and a versatile leather cape-scarf styled against houndstooth tailoring.

The palette remains grounded: olive, khaki, beige, chocolate, cognac, steel grey, camel, ivory, and white. Backstage, these tones take on new dimension, softened by movement, light, and touch.

Through the backstage lens, Wrapped // Unbound becomes more than a collection. It becomes a study in composure,  a woman held by her power, never defined by it.
