HENRIK VIBSKOV: Backstage at Copenhagen Fashion Week AW26
4me4you invites you to take an intimate, behind-the-scenes look at HENRIK VIBSKOV’s Autumn/Winter 2026 collection, Frog Carry Frog, through a fresh lens, captured from the chaos and creativity of the backstage process. In these exclusive images, we see the raw moments before VIBSKOV’s vision of transformation, collaboration, and metamorphosis.
Inspired by the frog, a humble yet transformative creature deeply connected to the natural world, VIBSKOV’s AW26 collection weaves a poetic narrative through amphibian life.
The journey began on a small Danish island, known for its fire-bellied toads, and unfolded through an unexpected web of influences: from the word criterium, to the image of frogs falling from the sky in the film Magnolia, to musings on social structures and shared burdens.
Frogs, as creatures that exist between worlds, from egg to tadpole to air-breathing being, serve as symbols of metamorphosis, environmental change, and the constant negotiation of what we carry in life.
This exploration of amphibians, particularly the rare frog species where the female carries her mate, became a metaphor for shared weight, emotional, physical, and collective.
VIBSKOV’s collection reflects this idea, embracing the beauty of interdependence. Earthy pond greens and soil browns are punctuated with warning flashes of orange, while signature textiles embody the interconnectedness of nature, with etched toad-skin textures, glowing mycelium-inspired patterns, and playful frog graphics.
This look behind the scenes reveals the collaboration, chaos, and quiet moments that contribute to a collection where every piece depends on the one before it. It’s a shift from the bird’s-eye view of fashion to the grounded, intimate perspective that HENRIK VIBSKOV so often explores in his work.
