Aiayu: Between One and Many

Backstage at CPHFW AW26
During Copenhagen Fashion Week Autumn/Winter 2026, Danish designer Aiayu returned with between one and many, a quiet, poetic meditation on individuality and togetherness.
For 4me4you, the story unfolds away from the runway. Through exclusive backstage imagery, we offer a different perspective, one that captures the stillness before the show, the intimacy of process, and the human presence behind each garment.
Here, fashion is observed in its most honest state: textured, focused, and deeply personal.
The collection reflects Aiayu’s enduring philosophy that clothing is not merely worn, but lived in. Every piece carries the trace of hands, time, and intention, revealing a dialogue between maker and wearer that feels both intimate and collective.
Rooted in Danish design values, the AW26 wardrobe balances minimalist elegance with material integrity. Under the creative direction of founder Maria Høgh Heilmann, Aiayu presented enduring silhouettes through refined tailoring, softened workwear, tactile knitwear, and layered outerwear, each grounded in sustainability and authenticity.
True to the brand’s materials-first approach, the palette remained understated and natural, featuring undyed ecru, dove mouliné, recycled silks, and fine wools. Drawn from nature and shaped by craft, the collection speaks softly, but with lasting resonance.
