For the Autumn/Winter 2025 collection, Danish designer Amalie Røge Hove’s eponymous label presents sculptural pieces that explore volume and engage directly with the human form. Inspired by Franz Erhard Walther’s ideas on the interaction between the body and objects, the AW25 collection delves into the transformative power of clothing. It challenges conventional knitwear by encouraging models to connect with the garments through movement and touch, transforming static objects into dynamic, lived experiences. Geometric shapes and contrasts shape both the collection and its presentation.

Amalie Røge Hove, known for her innovative and experimental approach to knitwear, made a powerful return to Copenhagen Fashion Week in 2025 after a brief hiatus. Her collections reaffirmed her dedication to avant-garde design and exceptional craftsmanship.

The AW25 collection, titled “Shapes,” was unveiled in the brand’s industrial studio, where the hum of knitting machines added an atmospheric touch. The ethereal, sheer knitwear exuded refinement, focusing on elegance, symmetry, and sensuality. Wool, an unexpected material for the brand, introduced a new layer of depth to the collection, featuring delicate, transparent knits and playful, flouncy hemlines.
