ABOUT ME
Ezgi Aras, known as “enigmaticarte”, is a visual world-builder based in İzmir, Turkey. Although she studied Business Administration and Brand Management, she has always been drawn to visual storytelling, the way images can carry emotion, shape identity, and spark imagination.
MY PROCESS
What started as an interest in graphic design slowly grew into a deeper practice across fashion imagery, creative direction, and worldbuilding.
Over the past year, Studio Enigma has grown into a personal universe of futuristic fashion imagery, surreal characters, and cinematic scenes. Through experimentation, Ezgi builds worlds that sit somewhere between reality and imagination, where fashion becomes a way of telling stories, and each image feels like a small piece of something larger.
Her work is inspired by questions around how identity, culture, and aesthetics might shift as technology evolves. Many of her visuals imagine futures where organic and synthetic forms exist side by side, and where the boundaries between human, machine, and environment start to blur.
Recurring elements like biomechanical structures, liquid-like materials, alien couture silhouettes, and evolving identities help connect her work into one ongoing visual world.
Instead of creating isolated images, Ezgi is more interested in building moods, characters, and visual narratives that feel strange yet emotionally familiar. Each piece adds to a growing ecosystem shaped by change, adaptation, and imagination.
For her, worldbuilding isn’t about a single image—it’s about building a living visual universe. Through Studio Enigma, she continues to explore how new creative tools can be used for storytelling, bringing fashion, art, and speculative design together into immersive worlds that invite viewers to imagine what comes next.
