MY PROCESS
Eliza, an artist based in New York City, has always been drawn to creative expression. After studying at art school, she turned to AI art in 2019, blending digital worlds that are as vibrant as they are unpredictable.
Her work exists in a fluid space between design, fashion, and surrealism, often bursting with colour and emotion. Some pieces are soft and romantic, while others feel electric and dreamlike—capturing the unexpected in ways that make each creation feel alive.
“I read a lot and do a lot of research, but when I start creating, I trust the process. I begin with a small idea and let the work unfold naturally. I let the materials, tools, and limitations guide me to places I might not have expected. While personal experience, invention, and everyday culture are important, it’s the process itself that gives the work meaning,” Eliza shares..
Her art is presented as “collections” on Instagram, each a miniature universe exploring a specific theme, like The Just on the Edge of Unraveling Collection or The My Best Friend Is a Robot Collection.
Through these collections, Eliza shares her more polished and playful works, while more experimental pieces are showcased on her second account, @perfectagala.
In addition to her artistic practice, Eliza runs the AI art magazine @AithenaArtMag and is an active member of several AI art collectives, including @echoesmag.ai, @frmwrkai, and @aimuses.ai. She’s also begun archiving her work at elizadesignai.me.
