Along with his friends, Abotz delved into this expressive medium, finding a deep connection with the art form. The vibrant graffiti culture in his community further ignited his passion as he matured, benefiting from access to a designated graffiti area in his neighborhood where many remarkable pieces were created.
Over the span of eight years, Abotz honed his craft and showcased his creations, with graffiti offering him a distinctive perspective on life.
Growing up in Kilburn presented various challenges, especially for the youth, who often faced the temptation of negative paths. For Abotz, however, graffiti provided a positive outlet for expression, shaping his growth as a creative individual.
This notion of a “journey into the unknown” has profound psychological implications, addressing themes of uncertainty and adventure in life. Datsko is fascinated by the human tendency to seek security and certainty, yet she recognises that personal growth often emerges from facing the unknown.
His primary inspirations are deeply rooted in his upbringing, including the environment of his neighbourhood, as well as music, art, fashion, family, friends, and his partner. Each significant experience, whether positive or negative, is reflected in his work.
