The Connor Brothers have developed a distinctive collaborative approach. Rather than creating work side by side from the outset, each artist begins by researching independently, reading, watching, and gathering ideas before exchanging them through notebooks and sketchbooks.
These ongoing conversations gradually evolve into finished artworks, a process the pair describe as “trying to make sense of the world.”
Blending humour, irony, and cultural references with striking visual compositions, their work encourages viewers to look beyond first impressions.
True Love Stories offers an engaging commentary on contemporary Western society, challenging familiar narratives while inviting reflection on the complexities, contradictions, and emotions of modern life.
