Meet yarrrrrr, an interdisciplinary artist and one of Russia’s early pioneers in generative graphics and animation.
With a career spanning art direction, public speaking on AI in art and design, and international exhibitions, yarrrrrr has showcased works at Art Basel Hong Kong, NFT Paris, NFC Lisbon, and many more, while also presenting digital art on media façades in New York, London, and Moscow.
A co-founder of the Russian-speaking AI artists community Bereza Prompt and a member of the collage collective Rezh da Kley, yarrrrrr is also part of the Creative Union of Artists of Russia (TSHR).
Their work explores the delicate interplay between human perception, embodiment, and consciousness in the digital age. Utilising neural networks for text-to-video, image-to-video, and video-to-video creation, they are expanding the boundaries of video art while also sharing expertise through a course on digital collage.
