Backstage with OpéraSPORT — Copenhagen Fashion Week AW26
During Copenhagen Fashion Week AW26, 4me4you moves beyond the runway to encounter OpéraSPORT from behind the scenes. Through backstage imagery, a quieter, more intimate world unfolds, shaped by preparation, detail, and atmosphere.
Founded in Copenhagen in 2019 by Awa Malina Stelter and Stephanie Gundelach, OpéraSPORT is known for its wearable, accessible designs with a modern sensibility. Backstage at AW26, this ethos is revealed through a softened lens, where craftsmanship, texture, and mood take precedence over spectacle.
Inspired by Venice after dark, the collection captures the city’s poetic stillness, lamplit palazzos, drifting reflections, and restrained romance. In the subdued backstage light, sculpted tailoring meets fluid recycled satins; lace and ruffles brush against structured silhouettes, while sequins catch fleeting glimmers, like water in motion at night.
The colour palette mirrors Venice at dusk, shifting between deep chocolate, pale pink, olive, and silvery hues, balancing shadow and glow.
Seen from behind the scenes, OpéraSPORT’s commitment to recycled and organic fabrics becomes tactile and immediate. The garments exist in a state of transition, between nostalgia and modernity, softness and strength, echoing a city suspended between light and shadow.
