The works in Hyle – Dark Light draw deeply from Persian mysticism, particularly the philosophical concept of the unity of opposites, as well as the eternal battle between Ahriman and Ahura.

Born in Rasht, Iran, in 1981, Seyed Amin Bagheri’s interdisciplinary approach is evident in his practice, which fuses literature, philosophy, and visual art. He studied painting at Azad University in Tehran, but his creative work spans various mediums.
While Bagheri embraces the flexibility of multimedia, drawing remains his core method of expression, a powerful tool for storytelling and conveying complex ideas.
