A portrait and figurative artist, Danielle paints with oil paints on canvas using a palette knife. Self-taught with a strong drive to explore human emotion and connection within a social context.
my process
Known for using a palette knife work rich in saturated colour to create intimate moments, which explore the vulnerability and emotion in one’s journey with one’s self.
Through portraits and figurative paintings – her work focuses on the difference between perception and reality, objective and subjective in the hope that beauty and strength can overcome.
