The name INJURY originated from the thought that “WHEN YOU ARE BEING CUT AND SEWN,YOU ARE IN A SITUATION OF INJURY SAME AS FABRICS.”

Renowned for their innovative forays into virtual realms, the dynamic duo of Dan Tse and Eugene Leung, both influential figures in the Metaverse fashion and creative spheres, have carved out a distinct niche.Their imaginative pursuits span various mediums, seamlessly blending art, CGI, films, fashion, and the digital landscape.

 

 

 

 

 

  • Eugene Leung, a multifaceted talent with a background in architecture, embarked on her creative journey by establishing the sub-culture-infused Australian fashion label, INJURY, in Sydney in 2004. As a fashion visionary, musician, and award-winning CGI filmmaker, Leung’s unique perspective laid the foundation for the brand’s identity. In 2008, the collaboration gained further strength with the inclusion of Dan Tse, who took on the position of Womenswear Design Director. This move propelled their collections into the worldwide limelight.

 

 

 

 

 

 

  • Their accolades include a notable place in the industry for pioneering Australia’s inaugural CGI fashion film, “The Butterfly’s Dream.” The film garnered recognition at esteemed events such as ASVOFF 13, Fashion Film Festival Milano, and Bucharest Fashion Film Festival. Notably, their latest creation, “Rare Reality,” claimed prestigious titles at the Berlin Fashion Film Festival, the UK Fashion Festival, and the Sunset Film Festival.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

  • In a groundbreaking move in 2021, Tse and Leung unveiled their first entirely CGI fashion show, “The Butterfly’s Dream,” at Australian Fashion Week, showcasing their ingenuity through the Virtual Show platform. The response was overwhelming, propelling them into the limelight and attracting invitations to craft NFT collections for various platforms. Their CG film, endorsed by Nick Knight, found a place on the SHOWstudio fashion film platform, further solidifying their position as trailblazers in the industry.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

  • The momentum continued with their second CGI film, “Rare Reality,” in 2022, featuring an NFT-driven metaverse show at Australian Fashion Week. This endeavour led to an impressive haul of four international film awards at the Berlin Fashion Film Festival, the UK Fashion Film Festival, and the SUNSET Fashion Film Festival in Tokyo, cementing their status as visionaries at the forefront of the intersection between fashion, technology, and the metaverse.
